I’m happy to inform you that you have been accepted as a graduate student to pursue work towards the degree of Master of Arts of Mass Communications at the University of Denver. Your acceptance to the university is provisional. In the packet, you can expect to receive your registration instructions. In addition, you will be receiving information about the departments and services at the University of Denver, including parking, student organizations, campus safety, health and counseling services, and health insurance. This information can also be located on the Incoming Grad Students tab in webCentral. Below are instructions on how to access DU’s myWeb and webCentral. In addition, information about the Disability Services Program is at the end of this letter.

In early April, the Office of Financial Aid will begin sending financial aid award notifications to students who submitted their FAFSA by the March 1st priority deadline. Students who submit their FAFSA after the priority deadline will have an award notification sent to them approximately 3-4 weeks after the receipt of the FAFSA. Your financial aid award may contain a combination of scholarships, work-study and student loans to help you finance your education.
You can view your financial aid awards and accept, decline, or reduce offered aid via webCentral. You do not have to accept all the financial aid offered by DU. Remember that student loans must be repaid. Be sure to read the documents that are sent along with your financial aid award notification. Your acceptance indicates that you will comply with the terms and conditions of financial aid awards. If you are accepting student loans, additional steps may be required before loan funds can disburse to your student account.
During the summer, you will receive information regarding our department’s graduate student orientation and welcome reception, which will take place before the start of fall classes.
