Congratulations! You have been accepted to the University at Buffalo School of Management Master of Science in Finance program.
As a new student, you are joining the School of Management community at an exciting time. You will be reaping the benefits of a philosophy of continuous improvement and outstanding customer service. This philosophy has manifested itself in several ways throughout our program, most obviously in curriculum innovation and in our emphasis on student professional development. These enhancements were made with one goal in mind: to maintain optimal student satisfaction as we prepare you and your fellow students for leadership positions in the Finance profession.
In the meantime, here are a few things to keep in mind:
** We l need to know as soon as possible if you plan to attend the M.S. in Finance program. Please confirm your place in this fall entering class by filling out the confirmation card mailed to you in your official acceptance packet and return it with your $250 tuition deposit.
** All students must be registered by the first day of classes, August 31, 2009, or you will be assessed a late fee.
** All graduate students must have basic computer proficiency. If you do not have a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software, take advantage of the summer to begin developing these skills.
